Protection From Abuse
A PFA is a civil order of the court available to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking. It prohibits the offender from abusing, stalking, harassing, threatening or attempting to cause bodily injury to the victim.
Divorce
Divorce is civil litigation and is a very serious matter. In addition to getting a divorce decree, the divorce process may include important financial and property rights that you could lose if the divorce is not handled properly.

Self Help
Custody and Divorce is civil litigation and is a very serious matter. It is highly recommended that you hire a Lawyer to represent you in any custody or divorce action. We have some self help forms available if you choose to represent yourself.

The Prothonotary is the Chief Clerk and record keeper for all filings related to civil cases. We are responsible for the filing, recording and processing of all civil actions, family court matters, equity actions, judgments, federal, state and local tax liens, municipal liens, arbitrations, license suspension appeals, appeals to higher court.
