ALERT! Berks County South Campus Closed Monday, October 5: The Berks County South Campus will be closed to staff and the public on Monday, October 5, to complete a scheduled electrical utility project. The South Campus Building will be without power from 8 am to 5 pm while Met-Ed conducts this work. For safety reasons, no one will be permitted to enter or access the South Campus building for any reason between 8 am to 5 pm on October 5.

The County appreciates the public’s understanding and apologizes for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause.

Compliance Unit

The mission of the Compliance Unit is to assist families in the enforcement and collection of their support obligations in accordance with local, state, and federal laws. We will utilize the enforcement remedies available for the purpose of securing regular support payments for the benefit of the families of Berks County.

The Compliance/Enforcement Unit is dedicated to working with other county agencies and services, and in conjunction with the various units within the Domestic Relations Section to strengthen our mission. We will provide service to our clients with dignity and respect to ensure that compliance is maintained and support orders are honored without prejudice.

Making a Payment

Normal Support payments should be sent directly to the Pennsylvania State Collection and Disbursement Unit (SCDU):

Please include your Member ID and PACSES Case ID on any check or money order sent to SCDU.

Credit/Debit cards are accepted at the kiosk located in the DRS Lobby, 6th Floor, County Services Center and online.

Purge Payments must be made in CASH ONLY and are accepted in-person in the Docketing Office Monday through Friday, excluding Holidays, between the hours of 8:00AM and 4:00PM.
