In 2004, the Pennsylvania State Department of Agriculture started a Bicentennial & Century Farms program. This program helps to emphasize the importance of our economic and rural heritage, as well as our traditions. According to the PA Department of Agriculture, there are almost 2,000 farms recognized across the state!
