This page contains training materials to guide you through the new functionality available in iSupplier as a result of the County’s upgrade from Oracle E-Business Suite version 12.0.6 to version 12.1.3. The following is a detailed breakdown of these new functionalities which are broken down in detail in the training materials and options notated herein. Click into the link for each section to open the training materials for that specific segment.

Barring any unforeseen issues, the County plans to be live with Oracle E-Business Suite version 12.1.3 effective Monday, November 10, 2014 at 6:00 a.m.

Business Classification Recertification
Business Classification Recertification

The updated features outlined in this videos shows how the County can update their Business Classification Recertification and how vendors are notified of expiring certificates for Business Classification Recertification (as detailed within your iSupplier profile) based on the expiration date of the business classification certification. As in the past, vendors can also update their recertification via the iSupplier portal. Please note that the recertification feature is at supplier level not at business classification level. The current design allows the system to send notification to suppliers based on when they have last certified their classifications (note this is for all classifications ,not a separate notification for each classification).

Product and Services Search (New Vendor Registration)

This video will show a new search tool that has been added to the Products and Services section of the Supplier Profile, which will make it much easier for suppliers and to find and select the goods or services categories (NIGP codes) that identify a supplier's capabilities. This feature is available within both the Profile Management pages for existing suppliers and the prospective supplier registration flow.

The video will outline how the County and suppliers can communicate with each other by entering into an ongoing conversation called an online discussion once an RFQ has been published.
