Berks Alert Emergency Notification System

The system is intended to allow emergency responders and Berks County employees to receive alerts through the Berks County CAD system and from their employer for the purpose of internal notification and alerting.    

This registration will not enroll the subscriber for “public alerting” like weather, shelter in place, and other community emergencies.  Subscribers desiring these alerts should ALSO register at the link in the green bar below.  

This alerting system is based on human engagement and relies on 3rd party infrastructure including the internet and wireless and wireline telecommunications providers.  Berks County can make no guarantees that an alert will be generated or that a generated alert will be received by you. 

Completion of a Berks Alert account DOES NOT guarantee notification in the event of an emergency.

If you wish to receive weather notifications or notifications from your community in which you reside (Berks County only) you must also create an account on the public user portal located here.
