Additionally, the KVL 7000 integrates with the Key Management Facility (KMF) by provisioning radios and consoles for centralized key management.

Pre-Ordering Begins Aug 2025

Required Part Numbers: KVL 7000 comes with AES and the ASTRO 25 encryption software installed. In CPQ, select the end user’s country and “Purchase a New KVL 7000” in the drop down menus. Note that the KVL 7000 charging kits are sold separately and must added as separate line items (see accessories section below for more details).

Warranty Options: KVL 7000 comes with the standard 1 year warranty. Select the Essential Warranty option for a 7 year warranty at additional cost.

Algorithm Options: Select additional algorithms to purchase at additional cost. Note that CFX and DVI-XL cannot be ordered together. CFX offers customization for the customer; please reach out to the PDM prior to ordering if the customer is interested in this algorithm.

Pre-Ordering Available Now in CPQ

UPDATE: As of January 2025, the Single Unit Charger Kits that will be certified for KVL 7000 available for quoting and pre-orders Q1 2026. Please add these as standalone items. For US/NA customers, the legacy SUCs will be certified also; hence, KVL 7000 will not require the purchase of SUCs as some customers may have purchased these with APX NEXT radios. Charger Kits: Select the charging kit for the end user’s region. Each kit includes a Single Unit Charger, power supply, and regional plugs. Note for US, it is recommended to order PMPN4604BTAA to meet TAA compliance requirements.

Spare Options: Additional accessories shared with the APX NEXT radio. Note the new standard battery (NNTN9216B) will be included in the purchase of 1 KVL 7000 (not yet available to pre-order as a standalone item as Nov 2025).

Cables/Adapters/Connectors: Please check the cables chart on the next page to confirm the items needed for the use case of the end user. Note that KVL 7000 uses some new and existing cables, which the end user may already have.

As of November 2025, the new KVL 7000 cables (in yellow) are available for pre-orders and will remain on hold until the KVL 7000 begins shipping in Q2 2026. As a promotional offer, these cables will be free of charge for pre-orders only.
