Over-the-Counter Voting

News Date: Monday, April 20, 2026

Ballots for the 2026 General Primary are available for over-the-counter voting at the Berks County Services Center.
The Berks County Office of Election Services is happy to announce that ballots are available for over-the-counter voting for the 2026 General Primary at the main office in the Berks County Services Center.

Voters interested in this service must come to the office to apply for a mail-in or absentee ballot in-person. (This service is not for voters who have already applied for a ballot.)

The election staff will then process the application while the voter waits. The voter will then receive their paper ballot and may choose to complete the ballot while in the office and turn it back in or may take it home to complete at a later time.

Over-the-counter voting is offered during regular office hours, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The deadline for over-the-counter voting is 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12.
