DEFENDANTS:                Mohammed Hamood Abiah (39 years of age)
1142 Rockland Street, Reading, PA (last known address)

Joshua Velez (38 years of age)
1136 N. Front Street, Reading, PA (last known address)

Aljenis Kelvin Reyes (29 years of age)
1236 Schuylkill Avenue, Reading, PA (last known address)

CHARGES: 
Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance and Criminal Conspiracy.

DETAILS OF INCIDENT:
On Monday, February 9, 2026, arrest warrants were issued by Magisterial District Judge Paul N. Leo. Defendants face multiple felony counts, including Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance and Criminal Conspiracy.
All three defendants—Mohammed Hamood Abiah, Joshua Velez, and Aljenis Kelvin Reyes—were arrested without incident on Monday, February 9, 2026. They were transported to the Berks County Central Processing Center for arraignment by Judge Priscilla Campos, and bails were set at:
  • Mohammed Hamood Abiah: $45,000
  • Joshua Velez: $45,000
  • Aljenis Kelvin Reyes: $30,000
As in every criminal case, an arrest or the filing of a complaint is merely an accusation; the defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
On Monday, February 9, 2026, at approximately 2:25 PM, a second search warrant was served. Among the items seized at 1142 Rockland Street (NYC Convenience Inc.), Reading, PA, were:
  • Approximately 400 canned drinks containing suspected THC
  • 250 packets of edible gummies containing suspected THC
  • 300 vapes containing suspected THC
  • 400 packets of suspected marijuana (1/2 gram & 1-gram packets)
  •  200 packets of pre-rolled suspected marijuana cigarettes
  • Numerous Other edibles containing suspected THC 
  • Packaging material and scales
Estimated Value of Seized Items: $60,000
