                        Possession of Fentanyl and Cocaine (M)
                        Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M)
                        Persons Not to Possess Firearms (F2)


DETAILS OF INCIDENT:

The Berks County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force conducted a drug investigation in the
City of Reading, Berks County. It began in May of 2025, and was in response to illegal drug
sales being conducted from 534 Mulberry St. As a result of this, task force detectives obtained a
search warrant for the residence, and the body of the suspect Christian Vazquez-Perez. The
warrant was issued by Magisterial District Justice Kyley L. Scott.

On July 24, 2025, at approximately 9:20 AM, detectives served the search warrant. Vazquez-
Perez was found inside the residence. A search was conducted, and the following evidentiary
items were seized:
 

The total street value of the controlled substances seized was estimated at $2,500.

Evidence Seized 

 

The suspect, Christian Vazquez-Perez was arrested and transported to the Berks County Sheriff’s
Processing Center where he was fingerprinted and photographed. He currently is awaiting
preliminary arraignment on the listed charges.

As in every criminal case, the fact that an arrest occurred or a complaint has been filed is merely
an accusation, and the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
