DRUG ARREST - J. RONDON-CEBALLO

CHARGES:      Possession with the Intent to Deliver Fentanyl (F)
                        Possession of Fentanyl (M)
                        Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M) 

DETAILS OF INCIDENT:

The Berks County Drug Task Force and the Reading Police Department conducted a joint drug investigation in Cumru Township, Berks County. It began in July of 2025 after detectives received information of the defendant conducting drug sales in the City of Reading. Subsequently, they obtained a search warrant for the body of Junior Rondon-Ceballo, his vehicle, and his residence. The warrant was issued by a Common Pleas Court Judge.

The warrant was executed on August 21, 2025, at approximately 6:00 AM. A search was conducted, and the following evidentiary items were seized:

• Two kilograms of fentanyl
• Digital scales
• Packaging material
• Drug paraphernalia
   

The approximate street value of the fentanyl is $500,000.  Street packaging for sale for this amount of fentanyl can be potentially produce 100,000 individual dose packets.  

The defendant was taken into custody and transported to the Berks County Sheriff’s Central Processing Center where he was photographed and fingerprinted. He is awaiting preliminary arraignment by a Magisterial District Judge.
  
As in every criminal case, the fact that an arrest occurred or a complaint has been filed is merely an accusation, and the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
