CHARGES:      Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana (F)
                        Possession of Marijuana (M)
                        Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M)
                        Dealing in Unlawful Proceeds (F1)

DETAILS OF INCIDENT:

In August of 2024, the Berks County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force and Reading Police conducted a drug investigation in Reading City, Berks County. As a result, a search warrant was obtained for the body of Edgar Anthony Colon, his vehicle, and his residence of 1035 Marion Street.
The warrant was served on March 7, 2024. The following evidentiary items were seized during the search:

•Approx. 2.5 lbs. of marijuana, packaged in bulk and in small bags for distribution. (street value of $4,000)
•A functional digital scale
•Packaging material labeled with marijuana related terms.
•Approx. $18,000.00 in US currency believed to be the proceeds from sales
•A cellular phone

Edgar Anthony Colon taken into custody and charged. He was taken to the Berks County Sheriffs Central Processing Center and is awaiting arraignment. Bail is not available at the time of this release.

As in every criminal case, the fact that an arrest occurred or a complaint has been filed is merely an accusation, and the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
