DRUG ARREST

CHARGES: Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine and Fentanyl (F)
Possession of Cocaine and Fentanyl (M)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M)
Criminal Conspiracy (F)
DETAILS OF INCIDENT:
The Berks County Drug Task Force began an investigation December of 2024, in the City of Reading, after receiving complaints that drug sales were occurring from within an apartment at 311 N. 9th Street, 1st floor rear. As a result of the investigation, the task force obtained body search warrants for both suspects, Susan Rich and Autumn Yerger, as well as their apartment located at 311 N. 9th Street.
The warrant was executed on February 26, 2025, at approximately 6:00 AM. The following items were seized as a result of the search:
- Notebook containing monetary amounts owed for drugs
- Clear baggie containing suspected fentanyl (approx. 4.3 grams)
- Approximately (18) bundles of suspected fentanyl
- Clear baggies containing suspected crack cocaine (approx. 18 grams)
- Plastic bags containing (21) packets of suspected crack cocaine
- Plastic bag containing (15) “pop top” containers of suspected cocaine
- Unused packaging material for fentanyl, cocaine and crack cocaine
- Two digital scales
- Four cellular telephones
- Various drug paraphernalia
The total street value of the controlled substances seized was approximately $5,000.
The search warrant was issued by Magisterial District Judge Kyley Scott. Both suspects were charged and are awaiting arraignment.
As in every criminal case, the fact that an arrest occurred or a complaint has been filed is merely an accusation, and the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
