CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE ARREST - A. CONCEPCION

DETAILS OF INCIDENT:

On June 9, 2025, the Berks County District Attorney’s Detectives initiated a criminal investigation after the defendant’s paramour inadvertently discovered a sexually explicit video on the defendant’s mobile phone and subsequently reported her findings to law enforcement.    

The investigation revealed that the defendant had sexually abused a six-year-old child and had recorded this abuse utilizing his mobile phone.  This abuse occurred at a private residence located in the 2100 block of Adams Street in Muhlenberg Township, Berks County. 

On June 9, 2025, the defendant was taken into custody at his residence by members of the Berks County District Attorney’s Detectives.  The defendant was charged with Rape of a Child, Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, and Indecent Assault.       

The defendant was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Brian K. Strand and bail was set at $175,000.  The defendant was committed to the Berks County Jail after failing to post bail.

As in every criminal case, the fact that an arrest occurred or that a complaint has been filed is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
