Alex serves as an Assistant Chief Probation Officer, managing specialized treatment courts. As the Treatment Court Coordinator, Alex oversees the Drug Court, DUI Court, and Mental Health Court programs, working diligently to promote rehabilitation and positive outcomes for individuals involved in the justice system.

With a strong commitment to breaking the cycle of addiction and mental health challenges, Alex and her team ensure that participants in these programs receive the appropriate support, resources, and supervision to successfully reintegrate into the community. Alex plays a vital role in the management of the day-to-day supervision of many dedicated probation and parole officers whose deep commitment to public safety is integral to the successful reintegration of individuals on community supervision. Alex ensures that officers are providing appropriate delivery of services by responding to the needs of offenders based on their risk to reoffend, holding offenders accountable to Court Orders, and increasing their competencies using Evidence Based Practices.

Alex is passionate about fostering collaboration across systems and ensuring that the department’s treatment courts offer a path to recovery, not just punitive measures. Through dedication, compassion, and professional expertise, Alex strives to create lasting change in the lives of individuals and contribute to the overall well-being of the community.

  • Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice
  • Motivational Interviewing (MI) lead instructor
  • Women’s Needs Risk Assessment (WRNA) lead instructor
  • NCTI Certified Cognitive Behavioral Group Facilitator
