Mailing of Mail-in and Absentee Ballots

News Date: Wednesday, October 1, 2025

The first batch of more than 20,000 mail-in and absentee ballots was mailed Oct. 1.
Berks County Election Services has received confirmation from our ballot printer that the first batch of more than 20,000 mail-in and absentee ballots was mailed October 1.

Voters have until 8 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 4, to return their voted mail-in and absentee ballots to Berks County Election Services. Ballot drop boxes will open Monday, October 20.

Voters can track the status of their ballot at: www.vote.pa.gov/MailBallotStatus.
This portal shows a voter when their ballot was mailed, when it was received back by Election Services and its status. The status "RECORD - Ballot Returned" means that Election Services has received the voted ballot and it will be opened and counted on Election Day.

Any voter who has not received their ballot within 7 days of the date it was mailed, or has other concerns about its delivery, should contact the Office of Election Services at 610-478-6490.
