‘Produce Plus Program’ Press Event

The Berks County Area Agency on Aging is proud to introduce the Produce Plus Program, a new nutrition initiative provided in partnership with Berks Encore and Helping Harvest. The Produce Plus Program was created to help improve the nutrition of older adults who are part of the Home Delivered Meals Program. Through this new initiative, a delivery of fresh fruits and vegetables will be provided once a week to all eligible Home Delivered Meals recipients. We will be holding a press event next week to share more about this exciting new program.
