The dedication of Berks Counties’ farm families to the future of agriculture is being exhibited by the number of their farms that have been preserved by Berks County’s Agriculture Land Preservation program.

Their stories will give their farm history and their feelings on production agricultural challenges for todays’ farmers and what is needed for agriculture’s future.

These stories first appear in The Reading Eagle’s Country Living section, as the paper has allowed us to highlight to their readers, some of these farm families.
